Use the CLAIMS^Ž Citation Database to quickly pinpoint hard-to-find citation information

The CLAIMS^Ž Citation Database is an online database of citation information for U.S. patent numbers. It can be used to search both forward and backward from a known reference or key patent to find other key patents.

For each patent number you are searching, CLAIMS^Ž Citation Database provides both the number of the U.S. patent references cited against it during examination and the numbers of the patents in which it has been subsequently cited.

Use the CLAIMS^Ž Citation Database to locate:

All utility patents cited by the U.S. Patent and Trademark Office since 1947
Pre-1947 U.S. patents are included when they have been cited against a patent granted in 1947 or later.
