The CLAIMS® Compound Registry Database is a dictionary-type, non-bibliographic file containing records for over 20,000 specific chemical compounds in the IFI compound term vocabulary. Each record in the database includes:

- Main compound name
- Available synonyms
- Molecular formula
- Fragment codes
- Fragment terms
