Reference Database
The CLAIMS®
Reference Database contains the class codes and titles for
the U.S. Patent Classification system, as assigned by the USPTO. The reference
database on STN and Dialog also includes the IFI-generated
vocabularies (general terms, compound terms, and fragment terms) used for
indexing chemical patents in the CLAIMS®
Uniterm Database and CLAIMS®
Comprehensive Database databases, affording faster access
to critical data.
