The most comprehensive U.S. patent collection, IFIALL combines three IFI CLAIMS patent databases into a single file to make patent searches faster and easier for STN searchers.
IFIALL provides complete front-page patent information, patent-claims text and the historical IFI CLAIMS value-added data fields including chemical indices. All STN patent searchers now can conveniently search this information in a single database.

Encompassing more than 9.5 million records, IFIALL is valuable to prior art searchers as chemical patents include technologies such as polymer chemistry, biotechnology, pharmaceuticals, paints, cosmetics and semiconductors which are difficult to search using free text alone.
