BlueFoot is a dual-use automated solution that uses both patent and business data for strategy. It was born from pain points that BlueFoot’s two co-founders felt as in house patent counsel at HP – how to use patent data in a business context. Nobody wants a patent data dump (not even patent lawyers). That’s why we created a platform that gives IP departments data-backed answers to the strategy questions they have about how many patents to file and where to file them. BlueFoot is also starting to work with government agencies to monitor innovation landscapes and determine potential risks related to them.
