Viewing the Family

CLAIMS Direct provides simple family information as defined by the DOCDB family identifier. If you know the DOCDB family ID, you can search for it in the Query box as follows:

To view family information for a particular document in your search results, right-click on the document in the results list.

Select Render, then Family:

A list of documents in the same patent family pops up, along with the total number of documents included in the family:
