A Message From Our CEO
2017 promises to be another exciting year at IFI CLAIMS Patent Services. We kicked off the year with an investment from Digital Science that allows us to further develop the content and the enrichment of our global patent data repository—CLAIMS Direct. We plan to add more national collections from Asia, South America, and Europe. And we will expand the scope of our patent status, expiry calculations, and applicant name standards including a new corporate ownership hierarchy that will allow our clients to more easily group global patent assets owned by a common parent.
Our community of partners continues to grow not only in the traditional patent information market but also in financial analytics and a variety of new cognitive computing applications. The flexibility of our CLAIMS Direct platform makes it easy to integrate high quality global patent content into new applications and enterprise workflows and has helped IFI CLAIMS become one of the most widely used global patent data sources in the industry.
