The rankings of the top US Patent Law firms for 2011 were compiled using data from the US Patent and Trademark Office (USPTO). The patent counts are for US utility patents granted in 2011 grouped by the patent attorney or agent on file at the USPTO. IFI uses a rigorous name standardization process to improve the accuracy of the data and distributes the resulting content to our partners and clients.
